The diodes of the LED floodlight operate on direct current, so an internal or external driver is usually built in to control the voltage and the supplied intensity.
Thanks to the LED floodlight driver, we will have great control and safety in the LEDs that are implemented on the PCB, avoiding an unwanted flicker effect and increasing its useful life.
THE ELECTRICAL AND LIGHT QUALITY OF OUR LED FLOODLIGHTS
Another important aspect to consider in the LED floodlight is the color rendering index (CRI), a value that indicates the quality and variety of colors produced by objects when illuminated with the LED floodlight. For indoor lighting try to have the highest possible value of CRI to have a higher quality of lighting, while outdoors does not need to be so high this value and thus reduce the cost of the LED floodlight. In the cultivation section, the CRI of the LED floodlight is defined by the spectrum available, with the P60 spectrum having the highest CRI of our spectra, having an almost perfect value of 0.97.
There are several color temperatures that can be chosen in our LED spotlights, but the standard temperature for excellence is 5000K, as it is the temperature that most resembles the sun’s temperature (which has 5700K and 6000K on cloudy days), so it is a light similar to that of the sun, providing great light comfort.
